Relish in Yesterday's Spectator!!

Big news - Relish was in The Spectator!

Just in case you didn't catch the article on the front page (!!) of the GO section yesterday, here it is!

There's lots of great clothing featured from Relish (Preloved, Allison Wonderland, Simone's Rose), as well as shoes from Solee shoes, jeans from Rivet and Taylor, and accessories from White Elephant.

Project Day - Prepping for Art Crawl!

Can you believe Art Crawl is here again already?! Wow, these last few weeks have just flown by. Since Supercrawl, Relish has been getting lots of yummy new fall clothes, and lots of great vitnage goodies. So, first project is to give our Judies their new outfits.

This is the Hughes Blouse (and it's reversible - check out the back with the adorable bow detail!) by Simone's Rose, paired with the lovely Wiltshire Skirt by Allison Wonderland.

And one of the gorgeous Electra Wrap Dresses by Preloved.

And as far as shop projects go, I'm re-doing my window display - lots of putty to fill in all the holes and cracks and a couple of coats of paint to make this shiny and new (and easy to clean!). I'm trying to get this done by tomorrow, but we'll have to see....

And of course I've just taken down all the existing art to make room for new stuff - look, bare walls!!!

Allison Wonderland has Arrived!!!

Ok, this is a big week. Not only do we have Art Crawl and Supercrawl, but I've received TWO new orders of fall clothing at Relish. I've just unpacked my Allison Wonderland order and it's gorgeous!!

Stranger Blouse in fawn (also comes in black, and feels so good) and Topaz Skirt in black (also comes in silver, which looks incredible with the lace overlay).

Thief Blouse in grey floral (also comes in pink floral - adorable!) and Wiltshire Skirt in black - if you've ever been inspired by the women on Mad Men, this is the outfit for you. The blouse is gorgeous and the skirt fits beautifully!

Suspicious Shift in navy - notice the lovely contrast zipper down the back! Now, these photos do not do this dress justice - it's gorgeous. And perfect for layering in the cold weather. To me, this 60's-inspired dress just screams "coloured tights and fierce shoes!"

Spring Items are Here!

I'm incredibly excited to report that as of this week I have amazing art and incredible clothing in the shop!

Artist Sarah Hollands has graciously provided me with paintings, collages, and mixed media artwork - these are some gift tags, postcards and mini art boards I have in the shop right now.

Today's project of actually installing changeroom curtains, now that I have clothes, is done! And they look very cute, if I do say so myself!

The Heartland Cargo Skirt, from Simone's Rose, one of the designers I carry, is a beautiful full wrap skirt with wonderful details like oversized pockets, big buttons, and lovely pleating. And it comes in both denim and khaki!

This is the Avalon Skirt by Allison Wonderland, an amazing designer out of Vancouver. The pattern on this skirt is so cheerful, it just screams "summertime!". This skirt also has adorable pleating and pockets - I am SO loving all the skirts and dresses with pockets that are so popular right now!
