Weekend Project

I did it! Finally, three-and-a-half years after moving in, I finally finished painting the last room in our house. Woohoo!

This kitchen used to be some aweful green colour probably called something like "Celery" or "Mint" - yuck.
Growing up, we always had yellow kitchens - and we lived in a lot of houses! - and they were always the centre of the house. (Lots of food-centric memories!) So now that my kitchen is properly yellow, I'm a very happy camper.

I have to say my favourite thing is that big piece of art on the wall. It's of my absolute favourite coffee shop in our old 'hood in Roncesvalles, Cherry Bomb. And yes, it definately is the bomb.

    looks good, miss!

    we're putting up light fixtures. now that the wedding is mission complete status, the house is FINALLY taking centre stage again. I'm absolutely ITCHING to get some of our art up. I think we might reno the kitchen too - eek!
    in conclusion, we need to have you guys and josh by for a chill sesh one night.
